Joe represents Hackney at LSE 3

Our lifter Joe represented Hackney again at the LSE 3 (London & South East Weightlifting series) at Bethnal Green in July.

While he looked comfortable with his openers, 90kg snatch and 115kg clean & jerk, Joe's second and third attempts did not go to plan - but not without trying to stand up with the 122kg clean. This was a great lesson learned, that competition lifting is a different sport to training. There are many factors that hold you back and also push you to do great things! 
He is accepting these learnings and will use them as experience to draw on in his next competition.
