Lift Engineering course with Amelia returns
Lift Engineering is a programme of Semi-Private Sessions in which beginner lifters will learn strength training movements such as Back Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift as well as assistant exercises (to address weaknesses) and mobility and flexibility drills (to prime your body before performing the movements).
The number of participants is limited and the sessions will be held three times a week over a 5-week period. They will enhance the lifter’s general health, increase muscle mass and metabolism, improve performance and contribute to injury prevention.
The programme will start with a consultation for movement assessment. During the development of the programme, lifters will track their progress, receive videos with technical comments, learn proper lifting techniques, basic anatomy and how to spot safely. This comprehensive approach helps ensure that lifters not only improve their performance but also maintain proper form and reduce the risk of injury.
They will also have the chance to test themselves at the end of the programme by attempting HWLC gradings as defined in the old British Amateur Weight Lifting Association Handbook, in which all lifts will be refereed by British Weightlifting Level 2 Technical Officials. Certificates are issued for all successful tested lifts that fall within the grading scheme.
